New Church Sherman Oaks is seeking your financial support to help us with our ministries both locally and internationally. Please be generous in our gift giving so we might be generous in the love we show to those in need.
LOCALLY
Socks & Souls : For Lent we are raising funds to purchase new socks and sanitary wipes to make blessing bags for our homeless community. In John 13:1-17, Jesus teaches us the important lesson of being servants to others by washing the feet of his disciples. We've taken this call up a notch by adding clean socks. Our goal is to make 100 bags (3 pairs of socks and small package of personal wipes, plus water and cereal bars if we can raise enough money).
Bagel Brigade is a non-profit, all volunteer interfaith group that collects breads and bagels from the local bakeries and major food chains to help supply food banks, homeless shelters and feeding centers, and local elementary schools where families of the students are living in poverty. You financial support will help pay for gas cards and garbage bags for our volunteer crews.

North Hollywood Interfaith Food Pantry is a local, volunteer- based coalition of organizations and individuals from around our community looking to end the growing problem of food insecurity by distributing over 320 non-perishable food bags every Monday and Friday. Since its inception in 1983, NHIFP has sought to welcome all people who may need food assistance as often as they may need. Rev. Ian is part of the Executive Board that oversees the operations of this wonderful mission.
BLACK SHEEP Harley-Davidsons For Christ is part of the New Church family of ministries. Black Sheep is the only ministry to focus their attention on the hundreds of thousands of bikers in need of Christ's love by caring for sick and injured bikers, officiating weddings and bike blessings, providing hospital visitations, and funeral services, as well as raising money for worthy causes.

Food For The Hungry seeks to end ALL forms of human poverty by going to the hard places and walking with the world’s most vulnerable people. Jesus addresses this core issue in Matthew 25, "When you did this to the least of one of these my brother or sister, you did also to me." Through this program we have sponsored Maria, a ten year old girl from Mozambique.
